They are not mailing me bills since the month of may. On 08/18, they disconnected my service for non payment. I had to pay them $1436.26 to continue service, without even seeing the bills. They had also debited my checking a/c by $500 on 07/30/03 without my knowledge that was credited back after i disputed with my bank.
I talked several times to different reps at verizon begging them to send me copies of the bills & a breakdown of charges totalling to whopping $1436.26 (normally my bills used to be around $170.00/month). After begging them, i have yet not received my august & september bills. I am afraid if they will disconnect my service again &/or charge me outrageous amounts. I am not supposed to be charged any late fees or re-connection fees since it were them who did not mail me the bills. They must not charge me "nsf" fee either since they tried to debit my account without my knowledge. I am willing to pay legitimate charges but i must receive the bills & breakdown of charges.
They must compensate me for lost productivity due to disconnection of phone service (altogether 4 lines) to my business, lost productivity due to time wasted & frustration from several calls to them. They must also refund me amounts that they charged to me as late fees, re-connection fees & nsf fees.
If they wanna behave responsibly, they should just not charge me for the months they failed to mail me the bills.
