I have been a Verizon customer for the last six years. My wife pays the bills for us and I happened to see that verizon had charged me for "roadside assistance" (originally called Mr. Rescue) on a recent bill for the sum of 3 dollars. I did an audit of my account and discovered that I have been paying for this service for the last 6 years, even though my contract does not have it selected or authorized.
I contacted customer service and spoke to a supervisor who informed me that because I paid the bills that I "accepted" the charges as accurate and was not entitled to compensation or refund of said charges!
How can I make them pay?
