I called Bank of America a few weeks ago regarding my credit card account. I have had this account for two and a half years with a credit limit of $5000. I wanted to transfer cash from the card to my bank of america checking account. I found out the fees and told the representative I wanted to think about it. I went in 4 days later to make the transfer and found my credit limit had been reduced to $1000. I called immediately and was told I was an "at risk customer". I have never been late on my payments, have always paid additional amount above my minimum due and only owed them about $300. Then this last week I receive a letter stating I now must pay a $59 annual fee. I am really upset about this. We have 3 accounts with this bank. I suggest anyone who has unused money that u can transfer out of your credit card, do so. I am not the only one finding these things out. No reason that I feel is sufficient was given me. Just seems strange that I say I want to think about the transfer and then the money is no longer available to me. I felt as though someone had held a gun to my back and stole the money. They have the nerve to flaunt on tv all the things they do for "people" and all the money they flaunt wasting but a loyal customer is treated like trash.
