Bank Of America
Overdraft FEE Scam Joplin Missouri

In my case... I made an online transfer of $800 dollars from my checking account to my ATM Card account... Bank of America showed on screen that the money was transferred succesfully into my ATM Card account... A few hours later I went shopping at Walmart ($79), ate at Taco Bell ($12), Paid my Water Bill ($49), and I used my ATM card at 2 more other places in a 2 day span... And on the 3rd day i went to get some cash from a (non bank of america) ATM machine and i was notified via the ATM machine i had insufficient funds to make transfer... I was upset I could not get any money out... But alarmed that maybe a hacker hacked into my account and stole the money I had in there...

So I immediately came home to find out why I had no money in my account... And I went online to bank of america... And their system shows that i transfreered $50 dollars from my Checking account to my ATM card account... As opposed to the $800 dollars that should have been transferred.

I was charged $35 dollars per each transaction starting with the walmart charge... While $750 dollars remained in my Checking account. I still dont understand why they only approved $50 dollars of the transfer and not the full $800 dollars...

Subsequently I was charged a total of $175 Dollars in Over Draft Fees! Bank of America has a problem with their online banking transfer and i have to pay $175 dollars for it (an injustice to me)... I feel like i was robbed.

I contacted Bank of America to file a complaint against the Online Transfer problem... And I was hung up on by the Customer Rep... I had to call back a second time to succesfully file a complaint...

And to make matters worse... When I contacted the Bank of America via the Online Chat Messenger... A customer rep continued to tell me not to get upset... He understands my problem... My reply to him is that... Everything wont be ok... Cause the $175 dollars they removed from my account in overdraft fees was to be used for my rent for January... So I have every right to be upset if i am robbed by a bank... This brings new meaning to "Bank Robbery"

I know other people have this problem with Bank of America... I just hope others come forward and make their voices heard... Due to the bad economy I understand these companies have to invent ways to make extra money from their clients... But this is not the way!
