I was in a contract with direct tv for 2 years and the service was ok. I had problems here and there with their recievers so i oppted to get their insurance. I had 2 of my boxes replaced within the 2 years. January is when my agreement was up so i started shopping for another provider. Well... My 3rd box went out and had to have them replace it... So they did and then without telling me automaticly signed me up for another 18 month contract.
Today i called to cancel my service to go with comcast and was told i have to pay a cancellation fee or it will go on my credit. Is that ok to do? I dont think so. I asked to speak to someone and was told there are no phone numbers to call and i have to write a letter to the corperate office. Direct tv blows and my friends and i will never go through them again.
