I sighned on with Direct Energy ten years ago within a couple of weeks I realized I made a mistake with sighning up because their rates were not lower than Union Gas. I was told to fax a letter to Direct Energy stating I wanted to cancel the contract. I did what they said and I had called Union Gas to l;et them know but what I found out later when I called Union Gas with a question I was told I had to call Direct Energy because I was still with them. No one cancelled the contract and I have been trying to get back with Union Gas ten years later but I have people from Direct energy saying I am locked in with them for another four years when I have never received anything thing from them or sighned anything with them. Can someone please help me with this? They say they have me on tape saying yes to renewing a five year contract and they sent it to me but there is no way I talked like that in the tape they pieced words together and I would never sign on with Direct Energy agian even if Unuion Gas was much higher then them and I told them that.
