I contacted T-Mobile explaining the poor reception I have been receiving with many dropped calls and inability to access internet and email functions due to poor connectivity in my home, where I have moved recently. The customer "no-service" rep sympathized with my situation acknowledging the frustration and in the next sentence said I will be charged the early termination fee because I am in a good coverage area according to their map. This logically does not make sense.
Another member of my household contacted T-Mobile and was told by the rep that we were on the other side of the tower and poor service was because of this fact. He had 2 phone lines with them and was waived the termination fee on both lines. We both had the same issues, yet his fees were waived and mine were not.
I am also only 5 months away from completing a 2 year contract and was still given no consideration.
Customer service reps give scripted answers and constantly site their map as defense against waiving the termination fee... Absolutely ridiculous).
