After researching many websites I purchased incredibly expensive shoes for my new pet Chihuahua anticipating their arrival with much excitement. Granted I paid more for shipping than I would if I purchased shoes for myself and I paid, what the company called a "$5 Small Order Processing Fee because I didn't want to buy anything else to make my order more than $50 (the shoes cost $42.90 bringing the order total to $57.30!).
When confirmation of payment came minutes after placing my order I was expecting reciept of the item within a week. Two weeks later I still had no shoes, there was snow on the ground and I had no idea when the shoes were coming. The confirmation email and link gave no indication when the shoes would arrive.
I sent an email to the companies contact link asking when I could anticipate the arrival of my item and indicated for the amount of money they charged for shipping they could have overnighted the tiny item I ordered. I recieved a resopnse indicating I was rude. Then I received a second email telling me my money had been refunded with the comment "cancelled".
How on earth does a company with such rude, bad customer service and slow, expensive shipping survive? I am in health care and if I treated my "customers" even half as poorly as that I would be out on the pavement looking for a new carrier or at the very least facing a law suit.
Pathetic.
