It has been exactly 8 weeks since I mailed my rebate info in. I rec'd an email about mid August saying there was an error and I would be contacted - well instead of waiting for them to contact me I checked their website (Aug 29) and sure enough I got the "we are currently unable to approve your rebate for... A copy of your orginal special services customer invoice, agreement, or will call was not included" so on Aug 31 I called them. I was told "there was a DATA ENTRY ERROR and was given a new record # (submission id) and I should see a mailing in 3-4 weeks WITH GIFT CARD inside."- I was also assured that this would not delay my rebate any further.
On 9/5 I received the notice my email said I would dated 8/28; it took 3 weeks to receive this by the way. On 9/6 I wanted to double check online and the report was "it is being processed, please continue to check this website to find the mail date for your submission". I checked the website the following week and got an error "no rebate matched the search" on 9/14 I called and was told "it is currently being processed call back in 10-14 days for a mail date." I told him I would... And that I knew of the others in the same boat as me and he asked what i was referring to - i mentioned this website and how many reports were on here. He said this website was for bloggers and info could not be confirmed. I will update this when I call next week or soon after. Has anyone that originally reported them receive their rebate? If so how long did it take? Also I wonder - can we report to the BBB? I may take that step next I will update you on that as well.
