I ordered 2 Cingular Motorola V30 phones from Wirefly for Christmas and following the guidelines, I sent for my rebates at near the 180-day mark.

They sent me e-mail confirmation on 6/17/06 saying that my rebates were being processed. They provided a link to a website that showed that my rebate was being processed, and they were showing on that website.

This morning, 7/17/06, I checked again, and the link no longer works. I called Wirefly Customer Service and chose the Rebate option. They gave me a different number to call for the Rebate Center than what I had for information and an e-mail address.

I spoke to a live person at this number and they said they were updating their website and that was why I could not check my status that way. The woman said I was welcome to continue calling that number to check and that my submission looked fine so far and it was being process and to allow 10-12 weeks for the rebate.

I think this is a runaround and I would like to know if there is any legal recourse one can take or if there is a class action suit being formed to which I could become a party if I do not receive this rebate.
