Verizon overcharges customers and customer service agents admit to knowing it

When signing up for Verizon new Fios service, I signed up for a contract for $74.99 a month for the first 3 months. Well, I get my first bill and it is over $135. When signing up for the service the customer service agent told me that Verizon cannot seem to ever get their billing correct and that I truly watch my bill EVERY MONTH to make sure I get billed correctly.

So I called them and they adjusted my bill. Gave me some "story" about their billing. Whatever. Then he adjusted the bill. What happens to those people who aren't responsible and DO NOT check their bills because they think the company is honest and ethical. What happens to those people? Well they get screwed and Verizon gets their money. Watch out!
