Sears charged me a late fee of $39 because I paid my bill online on the due date 4/07 at 2.44pm. They claim that payments paid after 1pm will be credited the next day but fails to mention that they will charge a late fee even though the payment history shows paid on the due date.
For payments made in the store on the due date there is never a late fee regardless of what time it is paid. The satement says that payment after 1pm will be process the next day however it appears nowhere on the payment slip nor is there a mention of late fees.
Someone should put a stop this this action of Sears and have them reimburse all the people they have done this to.
