Bogus late payment charge

I noticed a late fee on my credit card bill. I pay through my bank, I am never late paying them, The bill was due the 14th. My bank sent it out electronically the 10th. It was not posted until the 14th, which was he due date. On the 17th, they charged me a late fee!

I phoned and the lady said it was a computer glitch and if people called they take it off! I was stunned! How many people got this unfair late fee and did not call? Then she proceeded to tell me doesn't matter when they get the bill, might take them a while to bring it down and post it as she puts it! Now, this payment went out ACH, their bank is notified the same day to expect an ACH. It is in their account the next day, so why the delay?

This was out and out a bogus late fee!
