Where do I start? 1st thing Nextel told me when I started my cell phone service with them I would have Unlimitied local Direct Connect.
I got my 1st bill and there where charges for National DC (Nationwide Direct Connect). They said I was " Hitting " a cell phone tower in Central City. This is a town about 10 miles away over a mountain. My cell phone must have all kinds of power.
Now the trouble with this is just last week (week of March 20th) on our local news it was reported that " Central City is getting its 1st cell phone tower ever and the people of CC (Central City) would now have cell phone service.
Nextel told me that my "local" area was ALL OF Pa.cc can't be anymore in Pa then it already is. I was told that I was right on the line for the Ohio area. (I'm about 200 miles for Ohio).
Nextel told me I would HAVE to upgrade to the National DC to keep from being charged for using my DC at home. ($9.99 per Mo. X 2 Phones = 20.00 extra)
So I upgrade thinking they had me. I called and complained but to no uvail. I would HAVE to upgrade. Then I heard what the local news had said about CC.
I feel Nextel is trying to make extra $ off me. Buy the way I asked them about the Local DC while setting up 3 differant accounts and was told that local DC was ALL OF PA. LIE LIE LIE!!!
Then there is the Billing part of all this and to keep it short I am paying $158.09 for service that as supposed to be $39.99 per phone taxes and fees. I would have to write a book on this one. If anyone out there could help me I will explain later.
