BestBuy online passes the buck to a best buy store thats's near you, the kicker is Best Buy Stores can't help you if you ordered from Bestbuy online

I had ordered an Apple 60GB iPod with a warranty, in December from Bestbuy online because it wasn't listed as sold out. I guess Best Buy forgot to mark it off as sold out because I got an e-mail telling me it is back ordered. Well I waited for the iPod. BestBuy online ship me the wrong order like you didn't see this coming.instead of the 60GB Apple iPod I got the 30GB Apple iPod. My boyfriend was happy with the 30GB iPod he said it will take a long time to fill the memory up so we decided instead of going through the whole return and insuring and packageing it just perfectly we would keep the 30GB Apple iPod and ask for the $100.00 differance to be credid back to my credit card or even just get store credit. Oh we can't forget the service plan I just spent money on too! I call BestBuy online service number and go threw automated hell for 20 min. Hey, BestBuy claims this makes our lives easyer, I still need a human to talk to to get anything done so I thought. BestBuy Online tells me I have to go to the nearest Best Buy store. There is no Best Buy Store near me! So I plan a day trip on my day off to go to Best Buy in Bricktown NJ. Best Buy in Bricktown NJ tells me that they can not help me because they do not carry the Apple 60GB iPod. I said that's ok, I am keeping the 30 GB Apple iPod I just need a refund because there is a $100.00 diference between the two iPods. Bricktown Bestbuy tells me that they are not the same as Bestbuy online. I said thats funny because any time you have a problem with BestBuy online the first thing they tell you is to go to the nearest Best buy Store. The girl that worked at Best Buy couldn't get anywhere talking to Best Buy online people she then handed the phone to me. I was on the phone again with BestBuy online in a Best Buy store explaining everything all over some guy named Charles who kept cutting me off to research the problem. He re-asked me the same questions over and over and put me on hold to research. Meanwhile it has been an hour on the phone in the middle of the service center in Best Buy Bricktown, the employees could not beleive that this was such a problem I was there so long one manager offered to put me on pay roll. I watch the sun set this is rediculas. I got nowhere my answere was everything needs to be researched. Hey Best Buy online here is you research You people botched up an order now fix it!!! As fast as you took my money. I think Best Buy online is incompatant and really should have someone look into this because as it stands now BestBuy stole $100.00 from me and sold me a useless warranty that doesn't protect the iPod they sent me. Beware of BestBuy online avoid it and make the trip to your locall Best buy and make sur you can physicaly touch the product that you are buying. Best Buy the store does not want to have anything to do with Best Buy online that was made clear to me by the service and claims department. Need legal advice
