My story is almost identical to everyone else who suffered because of these two companies Union Moving and Extra Move.
In my case they took much longer to show up. I got a new job in columbus hired Union Moving which Extra Move to move my furniture from Philadelphia to Columbus, OH. They picked up my furniture in Philadelphia on Sept 14. It took them almost four to show up yesterday January 7th in Columbus.
When they arrived, they demanded more money than what is in the contract, which they do not deserve anyway. They refused even to show me my furniture in the truck and finally did not unload the furniture and left with it.
At that point I basically knew that the furniture is gone. I am planning to sue them in Detroit where Union Moving is located.

I also filled a report with the Attorney generals of Michigan and New York against both companies. I encourage everyone to do the same. They won't stop unless we take action against them.
