Best buy had TVs on sale thru their site this morning for $188.99. While I knew it was to good to be true, I ordered one to pick up in store.
When I got to the store, the manager said there's nothing he can do, that he is the face of the company, and cannot honor the deal. He said to call BestBuy.com customer service.
I contacted BestBuy.com customer service, and after an hour and a half, and talking to the "escalation specialists" at the corporate office, they did the right thing by... Oh wait... No they read their "policy and procedure." While it did get me in the store, it's probably somewhere I'm not going to shop again. Even if they did give me a $50 gift card for my troubles.
