Complaint / review text:
We have a damaged 8 gb Ipod touch 3rd generation and went in to have it replaced at the Apple Store in Aspen Grove. Had receipt in hand and was told that our product was a 2nd generation Ipod and that there was no such thing as a 3rd generation 8gb Ipod touch even though that is what our receipt has labeled it as such. Very confusing, but I have looked online and found others who had the same problem. My son was the one who bought it and believed that is what he was getting also.
No one will take any blame for this gross mistake. When you go into get the latest product that is what you want and hopefully buy but this is not the case. Apple says it's Best Buy's fault and Best Buy says it's Apple's fault. I have totally gotten the run around. I need answers and want to have my Ipod replaced with the appropriate model!!
