I will make this short and quick (unlike Sears.com Premium shipping)
Last Wednesday I placed an order at Sears.com for an item that was listed as being In Stock and opted for their "Premium" shipping for $35
The Next day (Thursday) I called to check the status and was told that I would receive it on Monday.
Monday I went to their web site to try and track the shippment, but it said it hadn't shipped yet. When I called and asked when I should expect it I was told that it was "Scheduled" to go out that day and I should see it in 4 to 7 business days.
That was their idea of "Premium" shipping, not overnight, not two day, but 4 to 7 days.
Today (Tuesday) I get an email that my item has shipped and to expect it on Friday, and that it was sent out via UPS "GROUND", Thats their idea of "Premium" shipping. I paid Extra and got UPS Ground
I again called them and asked "whats the deal with that?" and their answer is That is our "Premium" shipping.
So I asked, well if I hadn't paid extra for "Premium" shipping how would it ahve been delivered (because in my opinion the only thing slower ould have to be US Mail) their answer was UPS Ground
So the moral of the story is, Forget paying for the higher shipping, becasue it will be delivered by UPS Ground anyway
This is not the first bad encounter I have had with Sears.com
Previously I ordered an item (a little MP3 player) but opted for the "Pick-up at store" option. Later I received and email saying it was ready for pick-up at the store. When I went there after work (hours later) it wasn't ready for pick-up, and the people there said that there was no way it would be ready THAT quick. After waiting there for 45 minutes I stormed out and bought it elsewhere.
But because by their standards it had already shipped I had to wait two months for them to refund my account. They said, "It shipped you have to return it"
So BEWARE of Sears.com
