Contract was signed with NPMG based on salesman Matt Adams assurance that nothing would change in the processing of transactions. Misled me to believe that they were wholesale processors for my current processor. When funds were not credited as promised (overnight, as I currently am receiving), I found out that normal credit time is 3 to 5 days.
I cancelled and disconnected system after 3 days and was told I would have to pay a cancellation charge and that since they do not handle the lease on the machines, I have to deal with that separately. They threatened to send me to collection if I did not pay. I informed my bank to stop all charges from them and have not heard from them since. I have since gotten a bill from Chase Merchant bank for under minimum charges, report charges and a monthly service fee... Not of which was disclosed at the time of signing.
And, I still have not heard from CIT who holds the lease, and in checking them on this complaint, found they have over 65 complaints filed. They were also cited in a Leasing Newsletterin way overcharging on their leases... It was recommended that we refer them to the FTC.
I will be adding to the FTC complaint filed by the person in Sunnyvale, and I think it is important that everyone else who has had unfavorable dealings with NPMG and CIT Leasing do so also. If you did not see the letter... The FTC case no. Is 6858368 and should be filed at FTC. Gov
