NPMG Register ISO/MSP of Chase Manhattan Bank contacted my company to save me money on processing credit card transactions. Their "Account Executive" Jon Cannon showed up and with his computer took my last 3 months statements, imputed into his program and then compared their rates with my current US Bank and of course they come in lower.
I asked what other charges besides the 2.05% and. 25 per transaction would I have. He said my terminal was out dated and I needed to lease or buy their Verifone 3750 which had all the latest bells and whistles for internet security. I opted to buy it at an approximate cost of $2000. The same terminal, I found out later, can be acquired off the internet for $500 and after talking to another service merchant company said they would sell it for $776.
I was not comfortable with this after signing the contract and sent a faxed letter to NPMG to cancel. Jon Cannon was on the phone extolling all the features that NPMG offered and how they would to save me money over the next 4 years. I went over again verbally the benefits and decided to continue with the agreement, wrong decision.
On checking my last 3 months statements I am being charged for 3 levels, Qual @ 2.05%; Mqual 3.65%; Nqual 3.93%. I have the working figures that Cannon put into his program and he conveniently did not add the other 2 levels so naturally the figures were skewed in favor of NPMG. Typical bait and swich scam.

NPMG support center is very hard to deal with. All calls seem to be sent to answering machines. Sara McKey the supervisor is always hiding behind the voice mail machine and never returns calls in a timely manner.
I would like to be released from all contracts and a refund of the terminal. This company is a prime example of deceptive trade practices.
