On the Merchant Statement dated October 31, NPMG overcharged on the MQUAL DISC RATE. The statement showed a discount of. 37% on $2,665.00 or a fee of $986.05. The correct amount should have been. 037% on $2,665.00 or a fee of $98.61. The difference is a refund of $887.44 due my company.
After several messages over a period of approximately one week, a phone call was finally returned by a NPMG customer service supervisor. After I explained the problem, they acknowledged the mistake was made but it would take 4 to 6 weeks to refund the difference. Since it only took a key stroke to create the problem, I thought it was unfair for NPMG to take 4 to 6 weeks to return my money but complied with their time schedule.
It is now February and I have yet to receive my $887.44 refund from NPMG. December 6 I wrote a letter to the president, Lance Moorse, and have yet to receive a reply. I have since made numerous phone calls to follow-up and received the same treatment as the other individuals who have posted complaints.
February 6 I sent a letter to the president of Chase Merchant Services in hopes I might receive a response plus I have also filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. I would like to take them to small claims court but I live in California and NPMG is in Phoenix. Does anyone know if I can file a small claim against NPMG here in California or do I need to file it in Arizona?
By the way... I switched from the credit card company I was using to NPMG because Trey Smith promised discounts on my credit card statement... Needless to say, I did not receive the discount Trey Smith of NPMG promised. NPMG is a very bad company and needs to be put out of business.
