I had an older TDMA prepaid phone with AT&T, which was taken over by Cingular. The phone died and I still had over $25 worth of minutes left on the phone. When I spoke to them, they said that they do not refund unused minutes on prepaid wireless phones. They no longer carried any phones and would do nothing about it.
They should not be allowed to do this to the public. If they are not gonig to continue the phones, they at least ought to refund peolpe their money for the minutes they are never going to use.
The TDMA division representative who is supposed to be a "professional resolutions manager" of Cingular treated me like I was dirt referring repeatedly to my as a "degraded" AT&T customer. This is no way to treat the public. I have written them a letter and am waiting for their resopnse.
