Cingular sold Free2Go phone service which is being discontinued as of March 31. The final day to add minutes to this service was Dec. 31 but Cingular's computers would not accept the prepaid phone cards on either Dec. 30 or 31, both of which were weekend days, therefore no customer service rep was available.
After spending 40 minutes trying to add my minutes I posted on a Cingular forum and discovered that many others had the same problem.
After multiple calls to various Cingular reps, they would not honor the phone card minutes ($25 worth) nor give me a credit saying that it was after Dec. 31.
