Account ripoff put into collection under my name

Cingular Wireless has reported a collection account in October with Trans-Union and Equifax. I have an account with Cingular wireless and it is in good standing for about 2 years. I have not opened any other account with cingular. Cingular is refusing to remove the item in my credit report.
