I went 100 miles one way and took out the new buy onephone and get the other free. A 30 day warrenty on the phones. I am with at&t. I bought a new phone and the sales person told me to cut the end of the box off and send it in for a rebate before the feb 12. Deadline. I couldn't even call home. There was no single I then had to take the phones back to the store I bought it at and the manager refused to accept one of the phones back as the box was messed up.
They informed me they do not know when the 2 companies will merge. I was also told since I went back to at&t I would not get a rebate back. It took me 2 days to get my at&t hooked back up. I had returned the phones 1 day after buying it and did exactly as the sales lady told me to do about the rebate as she was the one who filled it out. I could not even call the other new phone I had purchased a there was no single.
There is no telling how many people have gotten caught up in this scam to sell wireless phones. I am now back on at&t with no problems with calls coming in or out.
