Sear needs to make good on fridge purchase or return my working one they tool - Kenmore Elite frdige

We bought a floor model of the perfect fridge, Kenmore Elite, side by side, counter depth. Although we were not in the market for one, it seemed a good value. The salesman guaratneed it to work, just a ding or two which he recorded and provided to us. "Absolutely guarenteed to work." He suggested taking the old one away because saying it was "illegal to dispose of a fridge wit the new laws" They delivered ithe Kenmore on the morning15th of August. Within an hour of them leaving the fridge started to sound like it would blow up. They could not send a repair person that day so I called the store, got the phone numbers for the delivery and asked them to bring back my working frdige which they took. They located it but said it could not be delviered until morning. I watched the new fridge half the night to ensure it would not cause a fire. The next day delivery came but "lost" my fridge. We had no choice now but to get this repaired. When the repairman came he said it was just the fan, but there were so many things wrong I suggested it was more but he said once the fan blows cold air properaly all the other problems would go away. They DID NOT! Another repairman should up about 5:00 on Saturday the following week now... And said he would not attempt to fix it, that it was electrical and it would not be worth it. He checked my receipt and called for a new one. He gave me the phone after he spoke with them and they transferred me to the dept manager who asked when I would like to have the new one delviered and we agreed on two dates the 26 or 27th. Sunday the 25th of August, Maureen from customer service calls and says no refridgertor would be delivered. She also said that I was the one that asked for a new fridge and declined the repair. I did not such thing. She said all they coudl do was take it back and give me a credit. I said fine, but I need my old one back. She said NO, they don't have it! She said they can only take this new one back and leave me with nothing! How can that be legal? I have talked to many people and no one has helped at all! No one is empowered to do anything. They have made another repair appt for Tuesday. This has taken up so much time. If the fridge shuts down and I don't catch it we will lose so much $ in food.
