My husband and I purchased a Kenmore Elite refridgerator from Sears in July.in May we noticed one morning that the fridge was making a loud noise and later that day stopped working altogether. We contacted Sears immediately, the earliest they could send service out was in four days. Service arrived in four days and they could not make the repair because they had to order parts, we had to go another week without a fridge. This was all under warranty so there were no out of pocket costs except for the food we lost and dining out for the 2 weeks we did not have a fridge. Now 8 months later the fridge is making the same noise... We contacted Sears they were less then helpful. We were hung up on twice, transfered numerous times, spoken to rudely, till we were finally informed that our fridge that is not even two years old that is having the same problem it did only a short 8 months ago would be our responsibility to pay for parts and labor and the earliest someone could be out was Thursday, four days from today. We are looking at almost 500.00 out of pocket costs to repair our fridge that again is not even two years old! This product is defective and we are outraged at Sears and there total lack of customer service or customer support. Sears does not stand behind their product, how disappointing!
