Broken Fridge - GE Fridge

After one month of suffering without a working fridge, my husband taking 3 different days off work, the fridge is still not working and now we are being asked to pay $787.64 for a new fridge plus delivery. This fridge is 'new' in the sense that it was never used and installed in 2007 as part of a condo renovation. We moved in a month ago - it was a problem from day one. Also, we would have been happy to replace the fridge one month ago, but at this point after the 3 days off, endles phone calls and insensitivity on GE's part... If we end up having to pay any money for a new fridge it won't be going to GE. For the record we're young and have two homes - so lots of appliances - after this I doubt any will ever again be GE.
