We bought a Samsung Refrigerator, Electric Range, Dishwasher and Microwave. Salesperson and delivery people were great. That is where it ends. I purchased at the Avon Store and delivery was from the Terre Haute store. An alarm and the light for the Flex Door was on and would not shut off. I called the Terre Haute store 2 times before I could talk to someone. Their automated menu is ridiculous and you have to enter 1 if you are not Hispanic. That set me off to begin with. After I first got to talk to someone I was forwarded to a Manager. Didn't get one, it just kept transferring to different phones. Finally on the 3rd call, I was able to talk to a Manager, he forwarded me to a lady.
The lady was trying to be helpful, but she put me on hold and I got tired of waiting on her, so I hung up. Then, called Samsung and they were no help. Said we had to wait 3 or 4 hours and it would quit. I didn't. Then I called the Avon Store and was able to talk to a Manager. He admitted that he was not a technical person and said that the door must not be closed. Really brilliant in his troubleshooting since we had already figured that out. I told him that I wanted to talk to someone in the Service Dept. He said they do not have a Service Dept. Any more. If I had know that, I would not have bought from them. He said he would look online and see if he could get a tech manual on the product to download and email me. Never happened. After I hung up from him, the lady at Terre Haute called me. She said to take my receipt back to Avon and they would get me a new fridge. They have a copy of my receipt and I don't want another, I just want this one FIXED. With all of this, I then started investigating on my own and found that 1 screw that holds the Flex Door
Track was out and laying in the fridge. I put it back, but noticed that it was loose and probably undersized for the hole. I fixed the problem, but due to the screw issue it is going to happen again.
Word of Advice!!! Dont' buy from H.H. Gregg. They have NO Service.
