I bought a Samsung refrigerator from the hhgregg store in Cary, NC on April 22,21010. It was delivered on April 26. Everything was fine until June 19 when we realized the refrigerator was not cooling. I called the Cary HHGREGG store where I had bought the refrigerator. I was referred to customer service. The lady asked what the problem was. I told her the situation and enough information for her to find purchase on her computer. As soon as she found the information the lady started to get an attitude like "What are you calling us for? She said that we had 14 days to call them if there was a problem. If we wanted their help after that we would have had to have bought some kind of HHGREGG customer service plan for the refrigerator. Since I did not buy this plan they would have nouthing to do with my problem. I would have to call Samsung. They did ask me if I wanted the plan at the time of purchase. Knowing that these plans are basically just ripoffs on their own I said no. I asked the so called customer service lady if what she just told me was that if I had wanted customer service from HHGREGG I would have had to paid extra for it. Of course she denied this but by the time I finished she did say that if I wanted to call it paying for customer service I could. There is no better way of putting it other than saying they want you to pay extra for customer service. So, if you want to buy from a company that charges extra for decent customer service go to HHGREGG. They will be glad to sell you anything in their store and be assured that once they get your money they will be through with you in 14 days.
