Will cancel service with Cingular and will never do business with a SBC company again!
Called Cingular and was told that checking your avail min via online messaging could be 60 days behind. I relyed on their information to avoid going over my monthly minutes. I was already over my minutes on Nov 12th and when I called on 11/17/04 to check available minutes, I was texted by Cingular that I have 225 min avail. So I continued to use the minutes carefully to assure I would not blow over the limit.
Only to receive a huge bill for overage. This is bs. How can a responsible customer keep under his allotted minutes if the company reports false information leading to overage? How dare them! This clearly a RIP-OFF!!
