Rollover Minutes? Cingular (as you may already know) has this phone plan of Rollover minutes - Never loose your minutes, they're your minutes - they rollover - or do they?
It's not really true. Every other month they wipe out any and all rollover minutes you have and under the terms of the contract you paid for. Or is it part of the contract - funny it's not really part of any contract it's just a selling tool to dupe the america public into buy their service. Go ask them! Then again who hasn't seen their commercials.
"You keep your minutes." So if I sign a years contract and never use my rollover minutes then I should have roughly 22000 minutes but the end of the year - not true. It turns out that Cingular wipes out the unsued minutes every other month and not for the duration of the signed contract 1 - 2 years.
People who have signed up for this plan are paying for minutes that Cingular isn't letting them keep for that year. Yet, if you were to ask anyone about their rollover minutes they assume it's for the durations of the contract not every other month and there's nothing in writing at Cingular that explains how the Rollover minutes really work. Cingular is steeling our unused minutes and no one has caught it - until now.

PS In a recent interview with a former employee he disclosed that "RollOver" minutes are a fraud and that if you were to suddenly change your phone habits they will slam you with a $500 dollar phone bill and claim you made calls over your minute limit! As in the case of my step son.
