We had the account for a couple of years when my phone started jumbling phone #'s and names. The new sim card would not fix it. So I had to buy a whole new phone since the warranty was up on it after a year. When I went in to get the phone, I specifically asked the salesman if I would have to sign a contract since I had come from another company and did not have to when I first opened my account. He told me "No, since you are just getting a new phone on the same account, you will not have to sign a contract."

We'll my sister and I share the account, we have 2 phones and split the bill in half and send 2 checks. Always have. But one of our checks did not get posted to our account one month. We received a bill of $120.00 on the next bill (normally $80.00). So I called, and normally I don't care to talk bad about people, but everyone that works there must have just walked in off the street with absolutely NO training. Pardon my language, but they are ALL the most ignorant people I have ever had the displeasure of talking to. The lady told me that only one of the checks cleared. OK, I realize mistakes happen. So I called the bank, got a copy of the check, mailed AND faxed a copy of the check and also mailed a copy of it along with the bill.

The next months bill came. No credit, still being billed for the check that they lost. OK, so I called the bank AGAIN, got another copy of the check, mailed AND faxed AND mailed another copy of the check with the bill.

Next months bill came-still no credit.By this time I am starting to get very angry. Then, an ABSOLUTELY Hideously horrible jack a$ called and demanded that I pay the outstanding bill. I tried explaining to him 3 times and he yelled and told me that if I did not pay TODAY, he was having my service shut off. He did.

So, I decided that I have NO desire to deal with a business that treats their customers like that and can not keep their books strait. I was going to cancel my service.

So, I called and talked to a really nice lady that actually had accounts payable on the other line and FINALLY got my check credited to my account. But while she was going back and forth with the dummy from accounts payable, I asked her TWICE if I had any other debts or fees of ANY kind because I had had enough and was going to close my account. She said 2 times that there was no contract on my account so our final bill would be it-$60.00.

Keep in mind by this time, I had asked a total of 3 times about a contract, once when getting my new phone and TWICE right before I closed my account.

So, my last bill comes and it is $260.00. I HAD BEEN CHARGED $200.00 FOR A BROKEN CONTRACT!!!

So, I wrote a letter, told them this exactly and the idiot told me there was absolutely nothing anybody could do about it, that I had A VERBAL contract with them. I told him that I had asked 3 times about a contract and every time they said no-NO CONTRACT. He said the lady that helped FINALLY get my account strait didn't put any notes on my account. Well, by all means, that must have meant she never said it!!! (rolling eyes) This is the WORST company I have EVER dealt with and I will probably pay the $200.00 so that it doesn't go on my credit but I have already conviced 28 people to close their accounts and 4 more are just waiting for the damn contract to expire!!!

What a bunch of crap!!!
