Optum refuses to reimburse me or to provide a copy of the endorsed check they say that the physician's office cashed.
Meanwhile, the physician office states they did not cash an Optum check in March, April, May, June, July, August, September or October on our behalf.
When I complain to Optum HSA they tell me that a virtual check was cashed, but can not show any proof of that then they recount that statement. They then say they sent two checks to my physician and that the physician cashed it in the amount of $114.52 but fail to produce a copy of that endorsed check.
Optum states that the issue has been resolved, no it has not, my physician has asked for a copy of the endorsed check that Optum says they cashed and Optum has yet to produce one.
I have asked to be reimbursed the $114. 52 that Optum took out to pay my physician and Optum refuses to reimburse me.
I reached out to Optum in April of 2023 and have been reaching out to them every month since then. Every time, I reach out I get no resolutions, they repeatedly refuse to produce a copy of the endorsed cashed check and/or to reimburse me for the money that failed to get to my physician's office.
