I purchased top of the line front load LG washer and dryer with next day delivery. I was told the machines would arrive between 3:00 and 5:00 P.M. The next day. After waiting around they didn't arrive until 7:00 P.M. Three hours later, my brand new wood floors and freshly painted walls were damaged. The installers left after 10:00 P.M. Telling me the machines were ready to operate. I started a load of laundry and realized after it was running for about five minutes that no water was entering the machine. They also put the machines in the incorrect order to be able to swap clothes from one to another. The next day, a new installer was sent to make the switch and hook up the water. He discovered that shipping bolts were still attached to the washer and because it was used, the machine is permanently damaged. The machines were not even attached to the pedestals and could have toppled over easily on a child or pet. Now they no longer have a new wash machine available and I have to wait for one to be shipped to the local Lowes and then delivered to me. With a sick spouse and the need to go to work, the inconvenience of not being able to do the laundry is unacceptable. I now need to make myself available for someone to come and take photos of the damage and then I will have to deal with having someone repair it. This is probably not a big deal to someone who does not have to worry about a sick husband, but unfortunately I do. I still had my Kenmore front loader wash machine and the dryer would have been repaired today but I couldn't wait that long because of the laundry piling up so chose to get new machines to avoid problems in the future. An apology from the manager doesn't seem sufficient.
