I went to the website yesterday and was happy to see that Boots were 10% off for the day. To me, that means, the price is 10% off, and since it didn't require a code, this wasn't a savings code/promotion, but an actual current price.
I put the boots in my cart, it shows them 10% lower, then I add my savings code and it takes the rest of the discount - I am now down to $73 w/tax.
I fill out all of the customer information required to make the purchase, get to the final screen, and the 10% has now fallen off the price and I'm up to an $84 total.
I scratch my head, try it again, same results.
I call customer service, they say, "well that is taking two discounts, we don't do that"
Ummmm, what?! IF the boots cost 10% less on Thursday, and no code is required, then that is NOT taking two discounts!
A supervisor and her Manager both agreed that it was two discounts and would not honor my request that they uphold the 10% price on the boots as advertised.
Obviously they lost my sale and I went to DSW.com and found a pair of Aerosoles I liked better for $35 less AND free shipping.
TAKE THAT Aerosoles - this is not the first time you tried ripping me off and I am now done with your store for good.
VERY unhappy customer: (
