Did not honor cancellation policy

I ordered a pair of boots on Aerosoles web site. I received an email week later stating the boots were on back order and did I want tt o keep my order open. At first I did and replied to the email to let them know. I then decided on tghe same day to cancel the order and order boots from zappos.com, I've always had good luck with them.

The email I received said "Even if you request to keep your order open, you still have the right to cancel the order at any time before it is shipped to you." I called their customer service and requested to cancel the order. I was told I would have to call back on Monday to cancel the order when tghe real customer service was there.

I called back Wednesday since New Years was Tuesday. I was hung up on 4 times before getting a hold of someone. I was told I cannot cancel the order because they are searching their retail stores for the boots. I asked if the order had shipped they said no.

I sent an email asking to cancel the order and again was told I could not even though the email they sent said I could. I was told I will have to wait 2 weeks for them to see if they can find the boots in one of their retail stores. If they can't find it after 2 weeks then I will receive a letter saying they will cancel the order.

They will not honor their word and cancel the order.
