I will neve purchase another HP product
I Purchase an HP office jet 8500 printer, gave paper jam report which after research on internet was a small clutch gear that was cracked, I was amazed that so many other people had the same problem. Seemed to be a manufactures fault.
Printer went to Redington for repair, comes back cant repair unit. Granted the unit was 2years old and out of warranty, but it is a R4000.00 unit and i would pay for the repair.
The Stax store CEO Fourways even gave them a call and they were not interested.
I called HP and they asked me to lodge a complaint, funny part was that they told me that management uses the complaints to better there business but that nobody will get back to me regarding the complaint. I scraped the complaint.
This is BULL SHIT that one can purchase a HP product and within 2years they cant repair it.
I dont see a R4000 printer as a disposable product, its also an environmental issue.
The short of this is that i will never purchase an HP product for my company or for myself ever again, and i will tell everybody that i know how one gets treated by HP... They don't care.
