HP 8500 Office Jet Pro-Wireless/Color, all-in-One Printer.
Paid over $400 for this HP product.
I paid for an Upgraded product, expecting upgraded performance and service. Shortly out of warranty, many many phone calls and unfilled promised return calls later and no satisfaction for a $400 piece of HP equipment that is now going in the trash.
Three mos. Out of warranty, calls to HP Customer Care, willing to pay the fee for technical support, which takes over an hr. And half, and I have to end call to go to work, without satisfaction. HP promises to call me back at a designated to time resume the repair. No call at the designated time. They do call days later, but I'm at work.
Frustrated, I paid to take it to an HP repair technician. Fixed jam. "Jammed is deep internally, something a consumer could not access", I'm told. I take printer home. Two & half mo. Later, same 'jammed' msg. On display. I take it apart in every place possible. No luck. Take it back to the service tech. Upon taking it apart; "It has crumpled gears that drive the feed roller, related to the paper jam!" Several calls to HP Cust. CARE (ha!) a promise from the Supervisor, that HP Corp will call me back on 6/13 at a designated time. I take off work - wait 2 hr. Beyond the time they're suppose to call - NO Call, as promised, by the Phillipine/Cust.'CARE' center. I call the 800 # again - Told by yet another SUPERVISOR, that 1st Supervisor gave me "Misinformation" about Corp returning my call. OMG! We start all over, machine is out of warranty, something we talked about three mos. Ago. Now say it's a hardware issue and since it's out of warranty that Dept. Won't take the call.
This $400 machine was 3 mos. Out of warranty when the problem began. Now I guess I just throw it in the trash.
I purchased an expensive HP Printer, an upgraded product, but the performance of this machine has been inferior as well as the Customer Care service that followed. Do NOT NOT NOT purchased a HP Printer. (8500 Office Jet Pro, all-in-One, wireless/color.
Oh my head hurts!
