At approximately 6:39 pm I received phone call on landline that my computer was being hacked and that my license under Microsoft was expired. They then asked to control
computer so they could show me all the trojans, virus, wrongful entry into my pc.
They then tried to sell me a program to correct all this for 199.00. I almost said ok
and got as far as when asked for credit card. I said Discover, they said didn't take Discover but didn't I have a debit/credit Visa card, I told them I had cancelled it.
They then put a different site on computer for services for over $200 and I told him I didn't feel comfortable because they knew all my personal information such as address and telephone number and that I had previously used a debit/credit card. They got short
tempered and hostile and said that my computer would crash, and at that I hung up.
Lucky I hadn't given my credit card to them.
