APPALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE - GROUPON & CLOUDS memory foam mattresses

I bought an ICE (in-car entertainment/hands-free phone) device on Groupon in December supplied by Bluetooth World. When it eventually arrived, in early January, it proved to be not only faulty but incompatible with my car radio through which it was supposed to work.
I contacted Bluetooth World who told me to return the device for a refund. They said they would refund the postage but advised me to contact Groupon to arrange the refund of the cost of the item itself, which I did on 13 January. Eventually, after quite a delay, Bluetooth World refunded the postage but nothing came from Groupon regarding the £19 item refund.
I contacted Groupon again on 21 January and was promised they would "chase up" the refund and promised a confirmation e-mail "by return" confirming what was happening. I heard nothing and so contacted Groupon again on 27 January and got the same promise and again on 1 March and got the same promise.
I have today, 5 March, (5th attempt!) telephoned Groupon yet again and this time spoken to a manager who apologised (as all the others had done!) and promised me the refund and an e-mail by return... I'm waiting in hope and anticipation!
It's little wonder, if this is the best Groupon can do for customer service, that they have hundreds of dissatisfied customers making complaints on this and other websites and have recently posted a 40 million pound loss for the last quarter.
If somebody doesn't get a grip soon the whole show will fold... And after such a promising start!
