I intended to phone sportsmemorabilia.com to complain about the unavailablity of an advertised item at a particular price. I just wanted to let someone at the company know how I felt. Imagine my surprise when customer service operator - Ingrid, was friendly, understanding, and proactive. She was the epitome of what customer service is about. She contacted a management person (who was busy on a phone call), and informed me that she would make sure that he phoned me back. About 10 minutes later, Joe called. Another fine example of customer service. Joe listened, understood, and was very nice. I could actually feel a smile over the phone. Joe made sure that I was able to order my item at the price that was advertised. He also gave me his direct number and stated that I should call if I ever have any concerns at all.in today's world, it is truly rare to find someone that actually cares, tries to make the customer happy, and actually answers the phone!
