I'm a single mom and I was looking for a 3 bedroom for me, my daughter and my brother. (I was hoping to be able to get a good price for a 3 bedroom so my little brother could go to school). Before accepting to pay the $199 I asked if my money was completely refundable and they told me it was. I drove to more than a hand full of homes and sent about 12-15 letters and received no responses so I went on their website to cancel. After entering my information to cancel they sent a general response e-mail to comply with their terms & conditions. I read the terms and conditions and noticed I needed to get 5 denial letters and send them to American Standard before I can get my refund. Why would someone reply if I asked them to send back a denial letter? They probably just toss all the letters in the trash if they even receive them. Then I started reading about them online and found out that a lot of the homes on their list aren't even in foreclosure or have been completely abandoned! Does anyone know anything about starting a class action against them??? This is not right. I'm sure I'm not the only one on a budget trying to find a good deal and get my moneys worth to make ends meet. I'm going to report them to the Better Business Bureau.
