My fiance and i called them because they had a ad on craigslist about owning your own home with no money down and it was a great way to get the home of your dreams.
We set up the account, but wasnt aware of having to do the heavy work. We had to send out Several letters to the addresses we wanted to see and had to wait for the American standard online to call us regarding the home we wanted. Well we never got a call after 50 letters, so we started back tracking and going to the addresses that we had already sent letters to. I got the same response from every single house that had people still living in it. Which there were a few that were empty. They claimed they have never heard of American Standard and that they Never had in mind to sell their home! Do you know how embarrassing that is to look like a fool? When we called to cancel they told me that i had to wait the 90 days and to just call after the 90 days and they would refund the money back to the account. Well the 90 days was today and i called and they told me i have to go online and log in and read the terms and conditions again which is different from the first time. So i did and they want at least 5 denial letters from homeowners, And i have to send a certified letter to American standard online. Then if that all goes well they will after 30 days put the money in the account... PLEASE ANYONE WANTING TO DO THIS DONT!!! You will regret going through this with them!!!
