I hired the company Colony Fence to install a chain link fence and an aluminum fence in my personal new home. This company did more damage to my property then they did correct. First the fence was not installed on my property line like I asked. I supplied a survey of my property. They put up the fence all crooked and did not follow the property line. They damaged underground pipes that were for property drainage that where clearly marked on my survey. They destroyed my grass in every area they worked when I had previously asked when they dug the holes for the fence post to please put the dirt on cardboard or a tarp. They ordered incorrect aluminum fence and decided to cut it themselves and completely destroyed it and then they wanted me to pay for a replacement of the gate that they ordered the incorrect height. The fence they installed looked used and was very scratched up. Two out of three gates they installed where not installed correctly they did not open and close properly and the gate was left with large gaps. I gave the owner Rubin Colonia 3 times to fix all the issues with the fence. Each time they came out it was with different men. My feeling is that they went out and just picked up day labors to do the work. They actually cost me more money in the end when I had to hire a new fence company to come out and have it completely re done. Do yourself a favor and do NOT hire this comapny!
