Bayview Fence Co. Placed our privacy fence 6" over the property line, even though we clearly marked the property, resulting in a lawsuit against my husband and me. Mr. George Dess, the owner, was very rude and unprofessional and said we accepted the fence and where it was located when we paid him in full. His salesman, Jim, came over and accused us of lying and even said we had moved things on our property to trick them. When we hired the company, the salesman said they would come back immediately and fix any problems, unlike other companies such as Lowe's Home Improvement. The cost of the fence was $2410. We had to pay our surveyor $190 to show a drawing of how much the fence was over and we had to pay another contracter $1480 to move the fence back on our property. Plus we do not know yet what the legal fees are going to be as a result of the lawsuit. I wish we had gone with Lowe's.
