June we ordered a fence through Home Depot. We live in a community where the fence has to be a particular one. We walked the agent down to the model house and showed him what it had to look like. When they came and started installing it I was in the shower. When I got out of the shower and looked outside I saw they had installed the wrong fence. They were told and stopped. They then had to remove the fence.
We were left with cement holes in the backyard and no fence. We then got a call that they don't carry the fence that we must have. It will be 2 years this June and they are STILL charging us for part of the fence. We DID get a particial refund but they are instisting on charging us for the fence that they installed and removed. Ok... So I have NO fence in my back yard and they are wanting me to pay THEM for telling us that they CAN order and install a fence that they do not carry?
They are saying we signed for the fence. Ummm, YES we did, but how do we know what the name of the fences are? We showed him what we had to have, he wrote the order, we signed. We have tried many many calls, many many letters and provided documentation as to what the restrictions are in our neighborhood. Our credit is affected and we have wasted many hours on this.
