In May I purchased a Kenmore Elite Microwave and Ceramic stove. The price was over $2700.00 for both with an additional warranty charge until May. My microwave stopped working on 1/30 and I called for the protection agreement warranty and was told that it was for my stove only and not the microwave. Since they were a set and came together as one unit, my contract states they were covered until 5/21. The person on the phone line referred me to the warranty department and after staying on the line for 25 minutes, I was disconnected. I called back and went through all the automated info and after a while finally reached the warranty department who told me again I wasn't covered and I questioned why my receipt showed that I was. I was again disconnected.
I advise everyone to buy your appliances from elsewhere because talking to the 4-my-home service is a waste of time. I have been a Sears customer for many years and have spent many dollars over the years, however, I will never spend anymore and will cancel my accounts with them immediately. Buyer beware. I learned my lesson the hard way!
