I purchased $7.81 in merchandise and paid with a $20.00 and the clerk Adam handed me. 15 in change and said he didn't have any pennies and I said " keep the pennies" (I was in a hurry late for Grandaughters B-day) he closed the drawer handed me my bag and preceeded to leave the counter I started to walk away and realized he didn't give me the bills or a receipt, I chased him down just before the breakroom and said " you didn't give me all my change I gave you a twenty and you only gave me fifteen cents back" he said "it wasn't a twenty it was a ten", meanwhile the store is full and we get back to the front counter and he asks me for the receipt and I told him "you didn't give me receipt and you didn't give me my twelve doolars in change". He goes and get the Asst, Mnager Becky and she proceeds to tell me that "I need a receipt and that I would have to wait until the end of the night and if his drawer was over they would give me a call." I said "I need a receipt" and asked if they could pull up the last transaction, Becky said "I don't know but we will try", in the intrum Adam said "she only gave me ten dollars." They proceeded to pull up the last transaction and low and behold I paid with a twenty, I asked for a copy of the receipt and asked Adam to write on it that he didn't give me my change and initial it. The manager said I would still have to wait until they counted his drawer and they would call me at the end of the night. The next morning, after no phone call, with my receipt I went back to the store and Becky the manager from the night before was at the counter I asked her if she was the only manager on duty because I needed to speak to a manager she remembered me from the night before and said"Adams drawer was so screwed up she couldn't make head nor tails of it, and gave me a corprate number to call where I left a message and am still out $12.00. I shop there very often and so do some of my elderly friends on fixed incomes it's scary. My next step is to file a police report, I feel mugged.
